CARTHAGE - The Panola College baseball team released their 2017 schedule this week.  The Ponies ended the 2016 campaign with a 39-18 record.  With 15 returning sophomores and a talented group of freshman the Ponies will look to better themselves in 2017.  

The 2017 Season will offer plenty of opportunities for fans to come out and see the Ponies in action. Thirty of the fifty-six games scheduled will be played at home including the first nine games to start the season.  

Panola opens the lid off the season January 27th at 7pm at home in Carthage vs Baton Rouge C.C. for a three game series.  

The Ponies take to the road for the first time in 2017 when they travel to Mississippi for two double headers against Copiah Lincoln C.C. and Hinds C.C. on February 17th and 18th.

Conference play begins March 2nd when the Ponies travel to Bossier Parish C.C. in Louisiana and return home on the 4th for a double header vs BPCC beginning at 1pm.  

Panola Closes out the season on the road at Navarro College May 6th for a double header beginning at 1pm. 

The NJCAA Region 14 tournament will be held May 12th-16th in Sugar Land Texas at Skeeters Stadium.

The NJCAA Div-1 World Series will begin May 27th through Jun 3rd at Suplizio Field in Grand Junction Colorado.
