Navarro College Captures Lead Early To Defeat Panola College

Panola College fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 8-3 loss to Navarro College on Thursday in Carthage.

Navarro captured the lead in the second inning. Navarro College scored one run when Cheaney singled with one out in the second inning.

Navarro scored three runs in the fourth inning. The big inning for Navarro came thanks to a double by Shelburn and a home run by Menchuck.

Kyle Rogers took the loss for Panola. He went three and two-thirds innings, allowing four runs, four hits, striking out five, and walking one.

Christian Boulware and Duke Ellis each drove in one run to lead Panola.


Six RBI Day For Bailey Leads Panola College Past Navarro College

Six runs batted in from Logan Bailey helped lead Panola College past Navarro College 9-1 on Saturday’s game one of the double header.

Bailey drove in runs on a single in the fourth and a grand slam in the seventh giving six RBI’s on the day.

Bailey earned the win for Panola. He threw six innings, allowing one run, two hits, striking out eight, and walking zero.


Panola College Falls To Navarro College After Seventh Inning Score

Panola College stayed in it until the end, but Navarro College pulled away late in a 3-1 victory on Saturday in game two. The game was tied at one with Navarro batting in the bottom of the seventh when Series singled off of Gannon Reiswig, driving in one run.

Navarro took an early lead in the first inning. Williams's sac fly scored one run for Navarro.

In the top of the sixth inning, Panola tied things up at one. Duke Ellis drove in one when he singled in the sixth inning.

Navarro scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh that would be the difference in the game.

In the ninth Panola had runners on second and third with two out but couldn’t get the big hit.

Gannon Reiswig took the loss for Panola. He pitched one inning, allowing two runs, two hits, and walking one.

Taylor Tomlin started the game for Panola. He tossed six innings, allowing one run, three hits, and striking out two.

Colby Price, Julian Flores, and Ellis each managed one hit to lead Panola.
