Panola?s Juwan Williams signs with Portland State

Carthage, Texas ? Panola College?s men?s basketball team announces that Juwan Williams has signed with Portland State University. The 6 foot 5 inch sophomore transferred to Panola from Weber State where he averaged 3.3 points a game as a freshman. Through seven games of the season, he is averaging nine points and three rebounds a game. The Richmond, Texas native was a top 50 Texas High School player and helped Travis High School when a state championship in 2013.

Williams joins is teammate, TJ Killings, who also signed with Portland State a few days prior. This makes the second division one signee of the 2018 class and the 13 overall division one signee of Coach McMillan?s tenure.
