7 Ponies in Double Figures in Win Over Trinity Valley

The Ponies hosted the Trinity Valley Cardinals in what proved to be a high scoring affair on Wednesday January 22.  Panola outlasted the Cardinals for a 112-105 final.

 
It was hot shooting that helped seal the win for the men.  Panola went an astounding 15-28 from the 3-point range in the first half and finished the game making 23 of 52 from distance.
 
Kelyn Pennie led the way with 28 points on 10-17 from the field (6-13 3FG) and also dished out 7 assists.  Jermaine Drewey scored 20 points and added 5 assists.  They were joined in double figures by Christopher Coley with 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists, Kamari Brown with 15 points and 11 rebounds, Stanton Rose with 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists, Cameron Carson with 11 points, and Davian Sanders with 10 points.
 

The Ponies will look to rejuvenate with a bye on Saturday and will pick back up Region XIV action on Wednesday January 29 as they travel to play Bossier Parish.
