The Fillies closed their regular season with a win over Paris Junior College, 84-67. With this win, the Fillies extended their win streak to 7 in-a-row, and placed third in Region XIV.

Sophomore night was nothing short of exciting as the Fillies scored 20 or more each quarter in last night's victory. In the first quarter, the Dragons of PJC battled and kept it close, 22-17. Every chance the Fillies had to stretch the lead, they took. But the Dragons would keep pushing back just as strong.

The Fillies forced 23 turnovers which was one of the key reasons they were able to take and keep their lead towards the end. The Fillies shot a whopping 45% on the night from the field and 31% from the 3-point line.

Four Fillies scored in double figures in the win. For Sophomore Tameal Jones, she ended her last home game with a bang. Jones came away with a career high 14 points on the night going 4-6 from behind the arch. She also added 4 beautiful assists. Freshman Daria Eremeeva came away with her 3rd double-double of the season with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Sophomore Charlynn Perry also scored in double figures, putting up 13, and Freshman Patience Okpe finished the night with 12 points. Denasia Watson had a career high night, dishing the ball out for 7 assists.

The Fillies sealed the deal for the 3rd Place spot on last night's win and will now head to post season play next Wednesday. They open first round of the conference against Kilgore college.
