The Panola College Fillies kicked off their season with a sweep of North Lake College (25-17, 25-20, 25-21) in Arthur Johnson Gym. The Fillies were paced offensively by the sophomore middle blocker duo of Daphinie Correa and Thaynara Godoi. Correa led the way with 8 kills and assisted on 5 blocks, Godoi added 6 kills of her own, and freshman outside Sabrina de Lima chipped in 5 kills. Sophomore setter Molly Harris dished out 18 assists with 6 digs, while freshman setter Bri McGown added 10 assists and 4 service aces in her Fillies debut. Sophomore libero Hannah Ramirez anchored the floor defense with 12 digs. 

Panola will return to action tomorrow at the NMMI Classic in Roswell, New Mexico against Yavapai College at 3 pm.
