Panola ends Rangers' season with victory in Region 14 semifinals

TYLER, TX: Kilgore College struggled offensively in a 72-44 loss to Panola College in the semifinals of the Region 14 tournament at Wagstaff Gymnasium March 10.
It was apparent that Panola was much more rested, having earned a first-round bye from earning the No. 2 seed.
DaVeon Thomas led all scorers with 20 points, eight rebounds, three assists, three steals and a block. He was the only Ranger in double figures.
Panola had five players in double figures with John Wilson (16), Yaphet Moundi (14), Christian Henry (12), Kyndall Davis (10) and Jaden Gray (10).
Kilgore ends its season with a 21-11 record.
Panola advances to play Trinity Valley in the Region 14 championship game set for 7 p.m. back here at Wagstaff Gym on Saturday, March 11.
