Week 3 Recap: 

In the third week of the 2023-2024 season, the Fillies competed in the Budke/Serna Thanksgiving Classic, securing two victories and moving to 4-3 on the season. 

Game 1: Panola College vs. Dallas College Cedar Valley

Defeated Cedar Valley with a final score of 69-64.

Game Highlights:

  • Tre’ Anah Coppock led the team with a staggering 24 points, finishing 10/13 behind the foul line.

  • Awa Fane composed 21 points and 4 rebounds.

  • Nakaylyn Wells made her presence felt with 6 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists.

Game 2: Panola College vs. Louisiana State University Eunice

Defeated LSUE 84-74.

Game Highlights:

  • Hannah Young led in scoring with an impressive 15 points, 9 rebounds.

  • Taja Stephens and Tre’ Anah Coppock each added 12 points to the team's effort.

  • Meilin Guo also reached double figures with 11 points and 8 rebounds.

  • Paige Taylor delivered solid numbers with 9 points and 6 rebounds.

The Fillies return to action at home on Thursday, November 30th, where they face Murray State College in a 5:30pm match.
