Nya Harmon signed a national letter of Intent with Texas A&M University, Commerce. 

Nya Harmon had a great freshman season with Panola College and used it as a stepping stone to get her to the NCAA Division I level. Harmon averaged 8.1 points, 3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists in her 29 games played in the 2021-2022 season. 

Panola College head coach Alex Furr stated "Nya is a great kid who will only continue to posively grow both on and off the floor. She always represented our program with great class. I know that she will be a great addition to the Lions". 

Harmon will go onto Commerce with three years left of eligibility. "Nya only spent 9 months in our program and it is time for her to level up. I am excited to see her compete for Commerce in their first year as a NCAA Division I program," Furr said. "We wish her the best and know she will continue to make us proud."
