No. 11 Panola Volleyball Takes Down Victoria College, 3-0

VICTORIA, Texas - After defeating Coastal Bend last Thursday, the Fillies are able to clinch the 11th spot in the NJCAA DI National Volleyball Rankings.

On Monday, March 8th, Panola Volleyball traveled to Victoria College and cruised to a straight-sets victory, (25-12, 25-18, 25-18). The Fillies improved to 5-0 overall and 4-0 in conference. 

Nyah Walker led the way for the Fillies offense by recording 11 kils and eight digs. Michaela Johnson jumped out leading the team with a .333 hitting percentage to go along with a pair of blocks, while Cassidy Cole recorded seven kills and two blocks to her performance. 

Erin Perez led the way for the Fillies defense by collecting 34 digs on her performance in this three-set match and adding two assists. Payton Jones and Jazmine Perez followed behind with 10 digs each and Jazmine Perez totaled 33 assists and one ace to close out the match.

The Fillies are back in action at Panola College on Thursday, March 11th at 3 p.m. for a match against Wharton Junior College.
