Fillies Extend Winning Streak to 5-0 in Conference

CARTHAGE, Texas - No. 11 Panola Volleyball defeated Wharton County Junior College in four sets, 25-16, 25-18, 10-25, 25-17, in a conference match on Thursday afternoon. The Fillies improve to 6-0 this season and 5-0 in conference. 

Jazmine Perez collected her third double-double on the season with 30 assists and 11 digs. Perez also added four kills and one ace on the match. 

Nyah Walker led the Fillies with 15 kills hitting a .225 clip. She also added five digs and a block. Hannah Stallings and Sarah Kayadibi both contributed seven kills and three blocks each on the four set match. Stallings finished with a .222 clip and Kayadibi finished with a .375 clip to push the Fillies past the Pioneers. 

Erin Perez registed 16 digs and five assists to the overall match. 

Panola Volleyball will be back at AJ Gym Monday, March 15th, at 6 p.m. to face Trinity Valley Community College.
