BAYTOWN, TX-

 The Fillies go undefeated this past weekend, August 20th-21st, at the Lee College Invitational Tournament. On Friday, August 20th, the Fillies beat Cedar Valley (25-14, 25-16, 25-18) and defeated Mountain View (25-10, 25-6, 25-8). On Saturday, August 21st, Panola defeated Eastfield (25-13, 25-11, 25-14), Cisco (25-14, 25-13, 27-25), and NorthLake (25-15, 25-5, 25-9). 

Tamara Chavez, from Lima, Peru, led the Fillies offense with a total of 54 kills and hit a .449% on the weekend. Chavez also added 25 digs, seven aces, and three blocks.

Izabely Benjamin and Luisa Hoffmann both finished the weekend with 30 kills. Benjamin, from Sao Goncalo Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, also added 39 digs, seven assists, and six aces on the weekend. Hoffmann, from Uberlandia, Minas Gerais, Brazil, hit a .349% while adding 11 digs, eight blocks, and six aces. 

Andressa Soares followed right behind and added 28 kills, 33 digs, four aces, and two blocks to conclude her weekend while Cassidy Cole finsihed with 22 kills and 8 blocks. 

Setter Vitoria Mattos, from Sao Paulo, Brazil, finished the weekend with 82 assists, 18 digs, and nine aces while setter Leticia Correa, from Bauru, Sao Paulo, Brazil, added 63 assists, 13 kills, and seven digs respectively.

Libero Erin Perez, from Corpus Christi, Texas, anchored the Fillies defense with 79 digs. Perez also added 11 assists and six aces over the two-day tournament. Kristen Stewart, from Carthage, Texas, stepped in and added 28 digs and two aces.
