Week 5 Recap: 

In the fifth week of the 2023-2024 season, the Fillies defeated the Western Gulf Red Gales and fell to No. 9 McLennan moving to a 5-5 record to roundup the first part of their season.  

Panola College vs. Western Gulf.

Game Highlights:

• Taja Stephens scored a career-high 17 points, finishing 5/7 behind the arc.

• Tre’Anah Coppock added 8 points and snagged a staggering 13 rebounds.

• Etaria Gibbons and Ja’Nae Southall contributed 7 points and 3 rebounds a piece.

Game Highlights:

• Tre’Anah Coppock led the Fillies with 11 points and 4 rebounds.

• Awa Fane added 8 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists.

• Na’Kaylyn Wells went for 7 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists.   

The Fillies will start the New Year off with a pair of games competing in the Evelyn Blaylock Classic vs. Hill College on January 1st followed by a match against Arkansas Cossatot on the 2nd.
