Week 6 Recap: 

In the sixth week of the 2023-2024 season, the Fillies split their two match-ups, falling to Hill College and beating Cossatot Community College at the University of Arkansas, moving them to a 6-6 record to start off the new year.  

Panola College vs. Hill College.

Game Highlights:

  • Awa Fane scored 16 points, snagged 7 rebounds and dished out 4 assists.

  • Hannah Young added a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds.

  • Tre’Anah Coppock also contributed double-double figures with 14 points and 13 rebounds.

Panola College vs. UA Cossatot.

Game Highlights:

  • Ja’Nae Southall led the Fillies with a career-high 19 points and 2 rebounds.

  • Awa Fane added 15 points, and 6 rebounds.

  • Alexa Vest also had a career night at 10 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists.   

The Fillies match vs. Texas Elite this upcoming Saturday has been postponed and they look forward to starting conference play on the road at Paris on Wednesday, January 10th.
