Week 9 Recap: 

In the ninth week of the 2023-2024 season, the Fillies lost two hard fought battles against Trinity Valley Community College and Blinn College. The Fillies are now 7-10 overall and 1-4 in conference play.  

Panola College vs. Trinity Valley Community College.

Game Highlights:

  • Na’Kaylyn Wells led the fillies with 18 points and 7 rebounds and 2 assists.

  • Awa Fane added an impressive stat line with 11 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals.

  • Meilin Guo got in on the mix with her own 11 points and 3 rebounds. 

Panola College vs. Blinn College.

Game Highlights:

  • Awa Fane scored 16 points along with 4 rebounds and 2 steals. 

  • Etaria Gibbons came off the bench adding 7 points and 2 rebounds.

  • Na’Kaylyn Wells also had 5 points, 3 assists and 2 rebounds.

The Fillies continue conference play starting at home this week vs. Tyler Junior College to wrap up January play on Wednesday the 31st at 5:30pm. They finish the week off with a match at Angelina College on Saturday, February 3rd at 2:00pm.
