Panola College Volleyball (14-1) competed in the CenTex Invitational at Temple College this past weekend. 

The Fillies finished 4-0 on the weekend with sweeps against Cedar Valley (25-8, 25-13, 25-15), Hill College (25-23, 26-24, 25-19), Temple College (25-19, 25-7, 25-9), and defeating Western Texas in four sets (23-25, 26-24, 25-18, 25-18). 

Outside Hitter, Andressa Soares, completed the weekend and led the Fillies with a total of 40 kills hitting a .273%. Soares also contributed 38 digs, eight aces, and two blocks. Outside Hitter, Tamara Chavez, followed behind Soares, adding 31 kills, 20 digs, seven aces, and five blocks. Middle Blocker, Cassidy Cole, hit a .367% on the weekend with a total of 30 kills. Cole added 10 digs and eight blocks, helping push the Fillies past their opponents. 

Setter, Vitoria Mattos, helped the Fillies by dishing out a total of 110 assists while also contributing 36 digs, six kills, three aces, and two blocks. Libero, Erin Perez, held off the opponents offense by collecting a total of 63 digs on her weekend in the total team effort of finishing 4-0.

The Fillies return back to play at home tonight on Monday, September 13th, for a conference match against #16 nationally ranked Trinity Valley Community College at 7pm.
