Four Fillies Earn All-Conference Honors

Panola College has produced four All-Conference honors for the Region XIV including outside hitter Nyah Walker, middle blocker Cassidy Cole, libero Erin Perez, and defensive specialist Payton Jones. These All-Conference honors are selected and voted on by the other coaches in the Region XIV conference. 

First Team: Nyah Walker

Sophomore Outside, Nyah Walker, finished the season leading the Fillies offense and tallying up a total amount of 183 kills and averaging 3.98 kills/set. She collected 126 digs, 11 aces, and 13 blocks to conclude her sophomore year. 

Second Team: Erin Perez, Cassidy Cole

Sophomore Libero, Erin Perez, dominated the Fillies defense with 255 digs total and averaging 6.54 digs/set. She added eight aces and 38 assits to wrap up her sophomore year at Panola.

Cassidy Cole, came in as a freshman and stepped in the role of middle blocker. She had 109 kills on the season averaging 2.67 kills/set. Cassidy stayed strong at the net adding 26 blocks and then contributing 21 digs and five aces on her season. 

Honorable Mention: Payton Jones

Sophomore defensive player, Payton Jones, stepped in this season providing the Fillies with someone to turn to as a utility player. She ended the season with 80 digs and averaging 2.05 digs/set.
