Panola Men's Basketball finished a 2-0 week with wins over Coastal Bend College and at Paris Junior College.

 

On Wednesday the Ponies defeated Coastal Bend 89-64.  Leading the way was Josh Miller with 18 points, Isaac Jackson with 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals and Ja'Hiem Handy with 10 points.  Cody Deen led with 9 assists and had 7 points.  Other key contributors were Esteban Roacho with 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists, Stephen Faramade with 8 rebounds and 9 points, and Olaverr Camacho with 8 rebounds and 6 points.

 

On Saturday the Ponies traveled to play Paris in what proved to be a dramatic come from behind victory.  Cody Deen bounced in a 3-Pointer as time expired to give the team the 71-70 win.  He led the way with 34 points on 9-13 3FG and had 5 assists.  Sherman Brashear had 11 points and 7 rebounds and Isaac Jackson had 11 points and 6 rebounds. Ja'Hiem Handy led with 5 assists, 6 points, and 4 steals.  Esteban Roacho led with 9 rebounds and 4 assists.

 

The Ponies will be back in action this week as they play host to Jacksonville College at 7PM on Wednesday February 10th and travel to Tyler Junior College on Saturday February 13th at 4PM.
