The Ponies are 5-1 this season as they open up conference play. The series with Navarro was originally scheduled for last week, but due to inclement weather it was moved to today.
Sophomore pitcher, Grant Rogers of Groves, TX, gets the nod on the mound today for the Ponies. He is currently 1-0 on the season with a 1.13 ERA in 8 innings of work.
The Ponies will be back on the road tomorrow at Paris Jr. College, then are scheduled to be home on Saturday for the final two games with the Dragons from Paris.
