The Panola Men's Basketball squad came to play on February 10th with a 102-61 win over the Jacksonville College Jaguars. The win moved the Ponies to 6-1.
6 players were in double figures: Cody Deen (19 Points, 6 Rebounds, and 3 Assists), Josh Miller (15 Points), Esteban Roacho (13 Points and 6 Rebounds), Isaac Jackson (13 Points), Jalen Williams (10 Points and 3 Assists), and Ja'Hiem Handy (10 Points, 6 Rebounds, and 4 Assists).
Next up the Ponies traveled to Tyler Junior College on Saturday, February 13th, and came away with the 77-70 win.
The Ponies were led by Cody Deen with 20 Points, 3 Assists, and 3 Steals, Josh Miller with 14 Points and 5 Rebounds, Tytan Newton with 13 Points and 5 Assists, and Isaac Jackson with 8 Points, 4 Rebounds, and 5 Assists. Stephen Faramade led with 11 Rebounds.
Panola had to postpone the next 3 games due to the winter storm and subsequent issues at opponents' facilities.
The Ponies will be back in action as they play host to Bossier Parish on Saturday, February 27th at 4 PM in Arthur Johnson Gymnasium.
The game at Trinity Valley has been rescheduled to Monday, March 8th at 5:30 PM.
The game vs Blinn has been rescheduled to Monday, March 22th at 6 PM.
