Week 15 Recap: 

In the fifteenth week of the 2023-2024 season, the Fillies went 1-1 to finish conference play. Falling to Angelina College and beating Coastal Bend College. The Fillies are now 14-15 overall and 7-9 in conference play.  

Panola College vs. Angelina College.

Game Highlights:

  • Awa Fane had a stellar performance with 27 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.

  • Taja Stephens put up 9 points, and 2 rebounds.

  • Ja’Nae Southall added 7 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.

Panola College vs. Coastal Bend College.

Game Highlights:

  • Awa Fane charted double-double figures with 20 points, 10 rebounds and dished out 5 assists. 

  • Ja’Nae Southall had 14 points and 2 rebounds.

  • Destinee Moore went for 12 points and 5 rebounds.

The Fillies gear up for Round 1 of Region XIV Tournament play this Wednesday, March 13th for an 8:00pm matchup versus Kilgore College.
