Week 8 Recap: 

In the eighth week of the 2023-2024 season, the Fillies split a pair of conference matches, falling to Kilgore College and beating Jacksonville College. The Fillies are now 7-8 overall and 1-2 in conference play.  

Panola College vs. Kilgore College.

Game Highlights:

• Ja’Nae Southall hit double digit scoring figures with 13 points while adding 2 rebounds and 2 assists.

• Awa Fane also added double digit scoring figures with 12 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists.

• Na’Kaylyn Wells also contributed 7 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists.  

Panola College vs. Jacksonville College.

Game Highlights:

• Awa Fane charted a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. She also dished out 3 assists and snatched 6 steals for a well rounded performance. 

• Ja’Nae Southall also added double digit scoring figures with 12 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals.

• Meilin Guo also contributed 7 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals.

The Fillies continue conference play twice at home this week. Starting out this Wednesday, January 24th vs. Trinity Valley Community College at 5:30pm and finishing with Blinn College at 2:00pm on Saturday the 27th.
