Panola College Rodeo

Chase Runfola, a freshman from New York, kicked off the year just right by winning the bull riding at the Panola College Rodeo. Runfola was on fire that night with an 83-point ride. Being his very first college rodeo, Chase was very excited to get the ball rolling for the year.

Logan Cook, a sophomore from Alto, was third in the saddle bronc. His 73-point ride earned the men's team some points. Another athlete that earned the men's team points, was Clayton Lowery. Him and his partner were smoking fast with a 6.1 second run to place them fourth in the team roping.

Sophomores from Center, TX, Mckynzie Bush and Abbie Muckelroy had good barrel runs placing them sixth and tenth for the weekend. We cannot wait to see the rest of the runs they make this year. These two girls put in a lot of hard work and we know they will not let us down.

A freshman on the team from Lufkin, TX, Jayden Gould had a clean, fast catch in the breakaway. Jayden roped her calf in 2.5 seconds to place her sixth for the weekend. Jayden helped earn points for the woman's team.
